On May 21^st Cavanaugh & Co, LLP hosted the Suncoast Community Blood Mobile from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. We had a great turnout and exceeded our goal. We would like to thank all the people who turned out to donate. With the recent disasters that have occurred, particularly the Oklahoma tornadoes their donation was greatly appreciated. Remember one donation can save the lives of up to three people.

Cavanaugh & Co has a long standing tradition of supporting local not for profit organizations.  This was one of Mr. Cavanaugh’s objectives in the formation of the firm years ago.  His vision has been supported by the partners and staff over the years by providing professional services as a firm as well as individuals volunteering personal time to local organizations.  Not for profit organizations make up a significant portion of our client base.  We developed a program to reach out to certain of our not for profit clients and ask for tours of their facilities so all our staff could get an appreciation of their mission. 

Our most recent tour was of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County. We toured three of the Clubs’ facilities in Palmetto and Bradenton and learned of the special services provided and the needs of the organization.

We are proud to announce the finalization of our merger with Robert Ferris, CPA.  Through this meger, Cavanaugh and Co, LLP.  will be acquiring numerous new clients, and we appreciate every one of them.  We are working diligently to make this merger as seemless as possible, and to ensure that there will be no inconvenience to new or existing clients.  We are excited about this new leap in our firm's growth and look forward to sharing the benefits with you.
